Software
The power of Digital Diagnostics lies in its software
systems, using sophisticated algorithms to assess psychiatric disorders. Unlike conventional mental health questionnaires, Digital Diagnostics software incorporates logic
and branching. Healthy patients are not asked irrelevant
questions, and patients who may have disorders are examined
in depth. The software also provides patient trending
and aggregate reporting, and writes to a database allowing
analysis of population data. The information is invaluable
for information-driven disease management programs.
Hardware
Digital Diagnostics has partnered with Patient Tools,
Inc. to provide portable, handheld computer tablets.
Patients see diagnostic questions on a display screen
and respond by pressing True/False buttons. Once the
patient has answered all questions, the handheld tablet
is placed on a docking station, the chart-ready report
is printed automatically, and data are stored on a secure, HIPAA compliant server.
The QPD Panel report resembles a blood chemistries
lab report, with a “look and feel” familiar
to physicians. Digital Diagnostics offers hardware
options to accommodate the needs of any clinic or healthcare
organization, from sole practitioners to regional and
national healthcare systems.
